I got these shark fins to start and after falling in love with them, I replaced all my shears with the platinum series 3 months later. Silver is Great for the cost conscious buyer, silver line shears are forged from 440-A Japanese steel with sharp, crisp edges. Perfect for the new groomer! They have a Rockwell hardness of 57-58.
