Guardian Gear Boots
Guardian Gear Boots
easy to put on, well suited for most med to large breeds, fits more round, so better suited for labs etc with a distinct difference between paw and ankle. now with fleece lining.
NeoPaws Boots
NeoPaws Boots
Simply the best all around boot for the active dog with the hard to fit paw. Not suitable for quickpee breaks as they are a little more involved to put on.
Neoprene outer and a full grippy soft flexable rubber sole(looks like a hiking shoe). The way it overlaps and has a long wrap makes it the only boot for the skinny long feet, or the Min Pin "same size foot as leg" syndrome. They come in packs of two starting at $18/pair, since most dogs rear feet are smaller than the front feet. they require an exact fit, which i am happy to help with, even i bought the wrong size for my dogs the first time. The only dogs they seem not to fit well is Cockers in full coat, as the legs are designed to fit snugly. www.Neopaws.com is the website based in ontario, i currently only carry black.
Pawz rubber boots xs-xxl packs of 12
Pawz rubber boots xs-xxl packs of 12
Disposable, reusable, salt proof, water proof, economy priced at $12 for 12 tiny boots to $18 for 12 xxl boots. Made from the rubber tree, these balloon type boots are my first pick for hard to fit breeds like min pin's, chihuahua's and any breed that is not used to wearing boots, or finds them cumbersome. Because they are so thin, the dog can feel the surface and doesn't seem to mind them. They fit based on the ankle, so the paw itself doesn't have to be tight(good for dogs with long nails) .
They also work good for indoors when older dogs can't get grip on the floor, just make sure you get big enough that the circulation isn't cut off when they are laying still.
**I tested these boots on my wussy golden who lifts her paws at -10, and she was able to stand on an icy sidewalk for 15 min in -25 before she showed signs of discomfort.**
